This means that everyone can use it, even users who connect to the Internet through wireless cards.<br \/>\n* Envy does NOT remove files any more but simply uninstall nvidia-glx (via aptitude) and blacklist Ubuntu&#8217;s driver in \/etc\/default\/linux-restricted-modules-common<\/p>\n<p>Both Dapper and Edgy are supported by Envy (but Composite is disabled by default)<\/p>\n<p>There are 2 releases of Envy:<\/p>\n<p>1) <strong>Envy (stable) 0.5.1<\/strong> installs either <strong>driver 7184 or 8776<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2) <strong>Envy (unstable) 0.6.1<\/strong> installs the <strong>beta driver 9626<\/strong> but which <strong>IS NOT SUPPORTED IN ANY WAY<\/strong> and might be <strong>DANGEROUS<\/strong> to use (since it installs a BETA driver.
