Well, there are 2 main reasons:<\/p>\n
* The ATI driver (fglrx)<\/strong> is not compatible with Feisty’s kernel (2.6.20). For this reason Envy should use a patch. I’d rather wait for official support by ATI\/AMD but if this doesn’t happen before Feisty’s release I will implement this feature in Envy. (This is not the main reason for delaying the support for Feisty).<\/p>\n * I read on the ubuntu-devel mailing list that Xorg 7.2<\/strong> *might* be made available on Feisty.
