Envy 0.9.x for Feisty will be released when it&#8217;s ready.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of changes straight from the changelog:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added: Envy front-end in pyGTK is now available and can be launched by typing &#8220;sudo envy -g&#8221; or<br \/>\n            by selecting it in the &#8220;Applications\/System Tools&#8221; menu<\/li>\n<li>Changed: Envy textual installer can be launched by typing &#8220;sudo envy -t&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Added: Envy frontend in pyGTK keeps a log file \/usr\/share\/envy\/log.txt<\/li>\n<li>Added: installing the Nvidia driver adds an icon to access &#8220;nvidia-settings&#8221; in the<br \/>\n            &#8220;Applications\/System Tools&#8221; menu<\/li>\n<li>Changed: Composite is now enabled by default for both the latest and the new legacy driver<br \/>\n              (Nvidia)<\/li>\n<li>Added: AIGLX is now disabled for the ATI driver (all versions) and for the Nvidia legacy driver<\/li>\n<li>Changed: there is no need to stop the Xserver any more.<\/li>\n<li>Changed: the Nvidia driver is now packaged via some (tweaked) Debian scripts and the module is<br \/>\n              compiled with module-assistant<\/li>\n<li>Changed: Envy has several dependencies and doesn&#8217;t try to install them via script any more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and here is a (tiny) screenshot of Envy&#8217;s GUI:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.albertomilone.com\/images\/gui1small.gif\" alt=\"Envy GUI\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Make sure you read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.albertomilone.com\/nvidia_scripts1.html\">Frequently Asked Question<\/a> before using Envy or asking questions on this blog.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy this new release of Envy!<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
