Envy 0.9.3-0ubuntu3 STABLE fixes an error about nvidia-kernel-common which made Envy abort the operation.
Nvidia changed its naming schemes therefore Envy failed with the beta driver. Purge Envy and try 0.9.4-0ubuntu2. Sorry for the inconvenience.
